Where crews apply paints, coatings, herbicides or insecticides, OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) calls for washing facilities on site. A handwashing station or a portable sink covers that. Under 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2), those stations need soap and towels or a dryer; sanitizer alone does not meet it.
